Barbara Boxer is at it Again

Earlier today we sent out an email asking for your support on a petition. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) lashed out at US Army General Michael Walsh earlier this week for addressing her as “ma’am” as opposed to “Senator”, which as a career military officer, is exactly what he was trained to do, call men “sir” and women “ma’am” out of courtesy and respect.  You can watch the Senator’s reaction below:

General Walsh has a long and distinguished career in the U.S. Army. He's worked his way up through the ranks, having served at home and abroad - including a tour in Iraq - to his current command of a division of the Army Corps of Engineers.

All of our military men and women deserve more dignity than to be on the receiving end of condescension and disrespect, especially at the hands of our elected officials.
