Specter vs. Sestak

It’s official, US Representative Joe Sestak (D-PA) will be facing Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA) in what is likely to be a very nasty primary battle. Sestak made his intentions known during an interview with The Wayne Independent this morning.
“I am going to get into the race against Arlen Specter ... for senator,” said Sestak in his first media interview as part of a three-week tour through all of the Commonwealth’s 67 counties.

A picture would be nice, along with his resume. In other words, who is this guy? Is he a blue-dog or far-left Democrat? Could we work with him?
Specter's toast in 2010; he's now serving his last term and will probably lose the primary. That means Sestak will be opposing Toomey in the general election (barring unforeseen events), so what kind of race do you plan?
