White House to take aggressive role in state races

Attention: open in a new window. PrintE-mail

The New York Times, Washington Post, and Associated Press are all reporting today that the White House is undertaking an unprecedented role in the 2010 mid-term elections. Washington Democrats are hoping to use the power of the Obama White House to hand-pick their candidates, raise money, and devote resources to ensure Democrats expand their governing majorities.

We can't let that happen.

The GOP saw impressive gains in August - the NRSC outraised our Democrat counterparts by almost a million dollars, Americans spoke out in huge numbers against the Democrats' plans to enact a government takeover of American health care, and many liberal incumbents saw their polling numbers take a steep dive. We cannot let these hard-earned successes be erased by a White House political machine that is intent on meddling like never before. Your donation of $36 - one dollar for every open seat in 2010 - will help build Republican ranks in the Senate and helpstop the liberal policies of tax-and-spend and government expansion.

We cannot do it without your support.
