In Arkansas, Politico reports that the primary between Democratic Sen. Blanche Lincoln and Lt. Gov. Bill Halter is already heating up over the issue of health care. The incumbent briefly implied Tuesday that she might be open to supporting a bill through the reconciliation process, before clarifying: “I don’t support reconciliation.” Halter issued a statement drawing a bright line on the issue: “I want to be perfectly clear with Arkansas voters, I support passing health care with a majority vote. And you can count on me to be decisive and clear about where I stand.”
