In Wisconsin, another survey shows Republican Ron Johnson taking a slight lead over embattled 18-year incumbent Russ Feingold. The Hill’s Shane D’Aprile reports:
…The poll gives Johnson a 2-point lead over Feingold—48% to 46%….
While the Ripon Press editorializes that voters will – and should – hold Feingold accountable for his failed economic record.
…Feingold is vulnerable. Despite his occasional flashes of independence, he remains a liberal… Meanwhile, Feingold spent the last 28 years redistributing your tax dollars, 10 years from Madison and then from Washington, D.C… Feingold supports the federal government spending money it doesn’t have… It’s time for common sense, fiscal prudence and a new emphasis on freedom. It’s time to elect Ron Johnson to the U.S. Senate.
