Senator Richard Burr’s Campaign Hits the Web Aggressively

And in North Carolina, Senator Richard Burr campaign’s hits the Web as they launch an aggressive Internet campaign. The Raleigh News & Observer reports:

Complementing his television campaign, U.S. Sen. Richard Burr has also launched an Internet campaign. The Internet ad buy is worth $120,000 said campaign spokesman Samantha Smith. That is in addition to the $500,000 the campaign has spent on a television ad buy. Dome spotted one of the ads on Public Policy Polling’s web site. It features a graduating college student, Alex Gonzales, who says she is worried about the future and that she believes Burr will make the best decisions in Washington. Burr, a Winston-Salem Republican has a huge money advantage over Democratic challenger Elaine Marshall. Her campaign has spent some money on Facebook ads, but has primarily focused on using the free parts of social media to try to drum up help for the campaign.
