In Missouri, as President Obama’s $787 billion stimulus debacle continues to fail Missourians, it is revealed that Rubberstamp Robin Carnahan and her family may have been the only beneficiaries of the Democrats’ costly bill. The Wall Street Journal reports:
A wind farm in Missouri that got a $107 million stimulus grant is generating some turbulence for two prominent Democratic candidates, Robin Carnahan, the state’s Democratic Senate candidate and her brother, Rep. Russ Carnahan… Republican Senate candidate Rep. Roy Blunt quickly released an advertisement today attacking the stimulus as a failure and implying that the Carnahans were its only beneficiaries. The race has been tight, with the latest polling of likely voters showing Blunt ahead by an average of 5.5 percentage points, according to Real Clear Politics.
While fiscally responsible Roy Blunt highlights Carnahan’s stimulus “payoff” with a new TV ad, titled “Where’s my Stimulus?”
