NRSC Statement on Sen. Bill Nelson’s Uphill Reelection Bid

In case you missed it, liberal Senator Bill Nelson announced today that he will ask Floridians to keep him in Washington for yet another term. In response to Bill Nelson’s uphill bid for a third term in the U.S. Senate, NRSC Press Secretary Chris Bond said:

“We look forward to a vigorous debate on Senator Nelson’s vote to cut Medicare by $500 billion, his rubberstamp support for President Obama’s failed $787 billion stimulus debacle, and his countless votes to drive our national debt past $14 trillion. Again and again, he has put President Obama’s reckless big government agenda over the best interests of Floridians, and the reality is that Florida families and small businesses simply can’t afford six more years of Bill Nelson.”
