In the wake of her extreme record of higher taxes, reckless spending, trillions of dollars in debt, and job-killing big-government policies, the non-partisan National Journal has ranked U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) as the U.S. Senate’s “Most Liberal” member, leading the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) to offer their heartfelt congratulations.

Notably, Stabenow shares her “Most Liberal” ranking with avowed socialist U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), polarizing Democrat leader Harry Reid (D-NV), and several other extreme left-wing Senators.

“We congratulate Senator Stabenow on her well-deserved ranking as the Senate’s ‘Most Liberal’ member, and we join in reminding Michigan’s families that absolutely no one in Washington stands farther out on the left wing than Debbie Stabenow,” said NRSC Press Secretary Chris Bond. “Given her love of tax hikes, reckless spending and debt, it’s no surprise that Stabenow has been recognized as the Senate’s number one liberal extremist, but she is surely glad to receive the recognition she deserves for her big-government record.

“As Stabenow pops the champagne corks to celebrate what she no doubt considers a great honor, we would just remind the Senator that the people of her state suffer from 11.1 percent unemployment in the wake of the $787 billion stimulus debacle she so strongly supported, which has failed to create the jobs she promised while driving our national debt past $14 trillion,” Bond concluded.
