In the wake of his extreme record of higher taxes, reckless spending, trillions of dollars in debt, and job-killing big-government policies, the non-partisan National Journal has ranked U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) as the U.S. Senate’s “Most Liberal” member, leading the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) to offer their heartfelt congratulations.
Notably, Brown shares his “Most Liberal” ranking with avowed socialist U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), polarizing Democrat leader Harry Reid (D-NV), and several other extreme left-wing Senators.
“We congratulate Senator Brown on his well-deserved ranking as the Senate’s ‘Most Liberal’ member, and we join in reminding Ohio’s families that absolutely no one in Washington stands farther out on the left wing than Sherrod Brown,” said NRSC Press Secretary Chris Bond. “Given his love of ObamaCare, tax hikes, reckless spending and debt, it’s no surprise that Brown has been recognized as the Senate’s number one liberal extremist, but he is surely glad to receive the recognition he deserves for his big-government record.
“As Brown pops the champagne corks to celebrate what he no doubt considers a great honor, we would just remind the Senator that most Ohioans do not share his left-wing beliefs, which is why Democrat pollsters now say he is ‘in real trouble’ in his uphill reelection bid,” Bond concluded.
