As Kaine Mulls Uphill Senate Bid, NRSC Reminds Virginians Of DNC Chairman’s Liberal Partisan Agenda In Washington
As his Democrat party leaders in Washington continue to twist former Governor and current Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tim Kaine’s arm in the hopes that he will make a U.S. Senate run in Virginia, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) today launched a new web video and microsite to remind Virginians that Kaine has been President Barack Obama’s number one cheerleader in Washington.
The NRSC’s new website, CheerleaderInChief.com, is a one-stop shop for information on Tim Kaine’s outspoken support for President Obama’s costly, unpopular policies in Washington.
Meanwhile, the NRSC’s new web video, “Tim Kaine: Cheerleader-In-Chief,” highlights some of Kaine’s top cheerleading moments on behalf of the Obama agenda, including his extreme comments in support of ObamaCare and the failed $787 billion stimulus, his claim that Democrats who try and distance themselves from their Washington party bosses are “crazy,” and his insistence that former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) did a “marvelous job.”
“As Tim Kaine’s fellow Washington Democrats continue to pressure him toward a Senate run, this new video and website will help remind Virginians of the liberal partisan agenda Kaine has been peddling for the last two years,” said NRSC Communications Director Brian Walsh. “Whether it’s his love of ObamaCare and the failed $787 billion stimulus, or his bizarre insistence that Nancy Pelosi did a ‘marvelous job,’ Tim Kaine has truly been President Obama’s number one cheerleader in Washington, and what better way to show that than with his own words and record?”
