In his debate against George Allen yesterday, former DNC Chairman Kaine offered a number of dubious claims, but perhaps the one that raised the most eyebrows was his statement that the Chairmanship of the Democratic National Committee “was not the most partisan job in America.”
Kaine would be hard-pressed to find one of his liberal allies in Washington to agree with him because the reality is that he tirelessly campaigned for President Obama’s failed $825 billion stimulus and his $2.5 trillion job-killing healthcare bill.
If that wasn’t enough, Kaine on numerous occasions in the past even called his fellow Democrats “crazy” for pushing back on Obama’s failed agenda.
“It’s amazing that Tim Kaine has become so out of touch with reality that he believes his chairmanship at the DNC was not the most partisan job in America,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Jahan Wilcox. “Between his fierce support for the stimulus, government-run healthcare and his harsh criticism of his fellow Democrats for running from President Obama, we can all agree that DNC Chairmanship was the most partisan job Mr. Kaine has ever held.”
