It’s Been 1,000 Days Since McCaskill & Her Democrat Colleagues Have Passed A Budget
It’s been 1,000 days since liberal United States Senator Claire McCaskill and her Democrat colleagues who control the Senate have passed a budget and today the National Republican Senatorial Committee has unveiled a new web video reminding Missourians that McCaskill has failed to perform the most basic function of a U.S. Senator.
Additionally, the web ad highlights the fact that during her bid for the U.S. Senate, McCaskill campaigned against the reckless spending in Washington and expressed a strong commitment to restoring fiscal discipline to our country, which she has failed to uphold.

Notably, it only took 981 days to build the Gateway Arch in St. Louis yet McCaskill still needs more time to pass a budget that will rein in her reckless spending habits that are bankrupting our country.
“It’s simply remarkable that it took less time to build the Gateway Arch in St. Louis than it has for Claire McCaskill to pass a budget that will rein in her reckless spending habits,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Brian Walsh. “With our national debt at $15.2 trillion, Missourians need a Senator who will actually do their job and pass a budget to help restore our country’s fiscal house.”
