As Tim Kaine Praises Harry Reid, It’s Been 1,000 Days Since The Senate Has Passed A Budget

During his tenure at the Democrat National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tim Kaine would often praise Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for his leadership skills.  Now that it’s been 1,000 days since the Democrats who control the Senate have passed a budget, the National Republican Senatorial Committee has unveiled a new web video reminding voters in Virginia that Democrats in Washington have failed to perform the most basic function of government.

“It’s remarkable that Tim Kaine would praise a guy like Harry Reid who hasn’t passed a budget in 1,000 days, which according to some Democrats is the most basic responsibility of government,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Jahan Wilcox.  “Between his support for government-run healthcare and his accolades for Barack Obama and Harry Reid it’s clear the liberal former DNC Chairman doesn’t share the fiscally-responsible values of Virginia families and small businesses.”
