ObamaCare Gave The Federal Government The Power To Decide What’s Best For Nevadans

Nearly two years ago, liberal U.S. Congresswoman Shelley Berkley supported Barack Obama’s job-killing healthcare bill – written by none other than Harry Reid – which gave the federal government the power to decide what type of healthcare services that employers, including religious institutions in Nevada, had to pay for, even if it violated their own personal moral beliefs.

This intrusive healthcare law is a clear violation of religious freedom as it forces religious institutions and individuals to choose between violating the law and violating their faith.

“Liberal Congresswoman Shelley Berkley will literally say or do anything to hide the fact that she supported ObamaCare, which not only forces every Nevadan to buy health insurance, but also mandates that they violate their personal religious beliefs,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Jahan Wilcox.  “This is just another example of how the Berkley-Reid job-killing healthcare law gives the federal government – not Nevadans – the power to decide what type of healthcare services are best for them.”
