ObamaCare Gave The Federal Government The Power To Decide What’s Best For Floridians
Over two years ago, liberal U.S. Senator Bill Nelson supported Barack Obama’s job-killing healthcare bill, which gave the federal government the power to decide what type of healthcare services that employers, including religious institutions in Florida, had to pay for, even if it violated their own personal moral beliefs.
This intrusive healthcare law is a clear violation of religious freedom as it forces religious institutions and individuals to choose between violating the law and violating their faith.
“Liberal U.S. Senator Bill Nelson cast one of the deciding votes for Barack Obama’s healthcare bill, which not only forces every Floridian to buy health insurance, but also mandates that they violate their personal religious beliefs,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Jahan Wilcox. “This is just another example of how Obama’s job-killing healthcare law gives the federal government – not the people of Florida – the power to decide what type of healthcare services are best for them.”
