After taking nearly $60,000 from the anti-Israel group J-Street, liberal U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown today accepted money at a fundraiser hosted by Martin Sheen, one of the most outspoken critics of Israel and a 9/11 “truther.”
According to reports, Sheen has donated financial and personal resources to the Office of the Americas who regularly attack the pro-Democracy policies of the United States of America and Israel.
Notably, Sheen’s extreme anti-Israel views mirror Brown’s record in Washington as the liberal Democrat from Avon has voted to eliminate aid to Israel.
“It’s troubling that Senator Brown would so closely align himself with an extreme anti-Israel activist like Martin Sheen,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Jahan Wilcox. “It’s abundantly clear that Sherrod Brown and Martin Sheen’s far-left views are completely out of sync with the hardworking people of Ohio.”
