Tammy Baldwin’s Tax-And-Spend Record Is Why She’s The Most Liberal Politician Wisconsin Has Seen In 40 Years

Congresswoman Baldwin Supported ObamaCare And The Failed $825 Billion Stimulus

After ramming through President Obama’s failed $825 billion stimulus and his $1.76 trillion job-killing healthcare law – which she claimed didn’t go far enough – it’s no wonder that Madison Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin is the most liberal politician the State of Wisconsin has seen in 40 years.

Baldwin was a fierce supporter of the $825 billion stimulus, claiming the legislation would ‘create or save’ 67,000 jobs, but since this bill Wisconsin has lost over 50,000 jobs.  And the stimulus was riddled with waste, as money was spent on studying exotic ants and how monkeys react to cocaine.

Notably, since Baldwin has been in Washington our national debt has increased by over $10 trillion.

“Tammy Baldwin’s record of higher taxes and more spending – which includes supporting a $1.76 trillion government takeover of our healthcare and the failed $825 billion stimulus – is why she’s the most liberal politician Wisconsin has seen in 40 years,” said National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Jahan Wilcox.  “With our national debt at $16 trillion we can’t afford Tammy Baldwin’s liberal agenda and it’s why Wisconsin needs a proven reformer like Tommy Thompson to fix our debt crisis and get out country working again.”
