It seems our Democrat colleagues need to be reminded that the American people are fed up with Washington’s addiction to spending and demand this debilitating borrow and spend cycle be broken once and for all.
With an unemployment rate over 9% and the national debt past $14 trillion the time for action isn’t now — the time for action has long passed.
But again and again Democrats have pushed for short-term after short-term fix. And so now here we are, on the brink of economic disaster and once again what are the Democrats proposing? Nothing! In fact they haven’t even proposed a budget in over 813 days!
Enough is enough. The United States is just 10 days away from defaulting on its loans. And the only way to ensure that we don’t continue to find ourselves in this same situation over and over with the debt ceiling continuing to inch its way higher and higher is to cut government spending, cap future spending, (no comma) and pass a balanced budget amendment.
So please, join me and thousands of concerned citizens from all across the country in letting the Senate Democrats know that you stand firmly with Senate Republicans in favor of Cut, Cap, and Balance
