The Facts About Eric Holder and Operation Fast and Furious:

Between 2009 and 2011, the Justice Department and the ATF allowed over two thousand illegal guns to flow into Mexican drug dealers’ hands as part of a sting operation.

Over the ensuing months these guns were used in hundreds of murders.  One of the victims was an American Border Patrol agent, Lee Terry.

When asked in Congress about this in May 2010, Holder first claimed he knew nothing, then that he had heard of the program.
