As Healthcare Overreach Spreads, Liberal Democrat Martin Heinrich Remains Silent

As the furor surrounding the Obama Administration’s war on the Catholic Church and the constitutional principle of personal freedom continues to grow, liberal Democrat Martin Heinrich continues to remain silent surrounding the Obama Administration’s recent health care guidelines. Additionally, Vice President Joe Biden, former White House chief of staff Bill Daley, former Democrat National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tim Kaine, Democrat Catholic Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) have all broken ranks with President Obama on this issue. While Heinrich refuses to take a position on this important issue, Santa Fe Archbishop Michael Sheehan has declared that this ruling is an attack on religious liberty. As KOAT-TV Albuquerque reports: CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO “This latest mandate stemming from the Obama-Heinrich healthcare law is a troubling overreach into the private healthcare decisions of New Mexicans, and yet while countless legislators have stepped forward and voiced their…

As Healthcare Overreach Spreads, Liberal Democrats Richard Carmona & Don Bivens Remain Silent

As President Barack Obama continues his war on religious freedom both former Arizona Democrat Party Chairman Don Bivens and his handpicked candidate liberal Democrat Richard Carmona have remained silent surrounding the Obama Administration’s recent health care guidelines. Notably, Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid who hails from neighboring Nevada, said the entire Senate Democratic caucus supports the President’s decision. “This latest mandate stemming from Obama’s job-killing healthcare law is a troubling overreach into the private healthcare decisions of Arizonans and yet while countless of legislators have stepped forward and voiced their opinion, Richard Carmona and Don Bivens have remained silent,” National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Jahan Wilcox said today.  “No one in Arizona should be forced to choose between violating their religious beliefs and facing government penalties, yet under the health care bill which both Bivens and Carmona support, that’s what they are now facing”

As Healthcare Overreach Spreads, Donnelly Stays Silent

Donnelly-Backed Law Pits Federal Bureaucrats Against Religious Institutions As the controversy grows surrounding the Obama Administration’s recent health care guidelines that have pitted President Obama and Senate Democrat leaders against the Catholic Church and supporters of religious freedom, even prominent Democrats have stepped forward and voiced their opposition to the government’s overreach. Yet, Indiana’s Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Joe Donnelly, a Catholic and graduate of the University of Notre Dame, has maintained radio silence.  A review of his official website finds no statement or opinion from Donnelly on what has quickly become one of the most controversial Obama Administration decisions to date. “This latest mandate stemming from the Obama-Donnelly healthcare law is a troubling overreach into the private healthcare decisions of Hoosiers, and yet while countless legislators have stepped forward and voiced their opinion, Joe Donnelly has remained silent,” National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) spokesman Brian Walsh said today.  “No…

Baldwin Only Member of Energy & Commerce Committee to Skip Every Vote on Job-Creating Energy Bill, But Made Time for Liberal Radio Host Ed Schultz

Tammy Baldwin, the most liberal member of the Wisconsin congressional delegation, was the only member – Republican or Democrat – on the 53-member Energy & Commerce Committee to skip every single vote in yesterday’s Committee markup of a job-creating energy bill — H.R. 3548, the North American Energy Access Act. A key goal of this legislation is to save the Keystone XL pipeline, a shovel-ready jobs and energy security project that President Obama delayed and ultimately rejected.  H.R. 3548 takes politics out of the pipeline decision by removing the president’s authority over the pipeline’s permit and giving it to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.  As Bloomberg News reported, “pipeline backers, including labor unions, have said the project may create as many as 20,000 jobs.” Curiously, while Congresswoman Baldwin didn’t have time for a vote on creating jobs, in contrast to all 53 of her Committee colleagues, she found time to…

If You Want To Know Who Richard Carmona Will Stand With In Washington, See Who He’s Standing With In New York City Tonight

Carmona Set To Fundraise With Liberal New York Senator Chuck Schumer  Richard Carmona (D-AZ) likes to preach his independence on the campaign in Arizona, but an inside look at his fundraising apparatus tells a far different story.  Tonight, Carmona’s political patron liberal U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will host a fundraiser for Carmona at the posh Grace Hotel in New York City. Schumer is an unabashed supporter of Barack Obama’s tax-and-spend agenda, supporting key initiatives like Obama’s failed $825 billion stimulus and $2.5 trillion healthcare law.  Additionally, Schumer is a strong opponent of the Second Amendment and has consistently voted to raise taxes on families and small business owners in Arizona.   On every major issue, Schumer has been in lockstep with President Obama, who personally recruited Carmona to run last year. “If Arizonans want to see who Richard Carmona will stand with in Washington, they don’t need to look any…

Sherrod Brown Voted Against A Bill That Even Top Democrats Say Will Create 300,000 Jobs

Once Again Sherrod Brown Opted To Side With Big Labor Instead Of Ohio After 1,590 days and 23 short-term extensions, liberal United States Senator Sherrod Brown voted last night against a four-year funding bill for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which, according to the Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid, is expected to create 300,000 jobs. This is a remarkable development given that a year ago, Brown strongly supported a reauthorization of the FAA but decided that this time he would join his liberal friends in the Senate and oppose the legislation because Big Labor had some concerns with the bill. As the Associated Press reports: A bill to speed the nation’s switch from radar to an air traffic control system based on GPS technology, and to open U.S. skies to unmanned drone flights within four years, received final congressional approval Monday.  The bill passed the Senate 75-20, despite labor opposition…

NRSC Statement On Bob Kerrey’s Decision Not To Run For The U.S. Senate

National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Communications Director Brian Walsh issued the following statement in response to reports that Bob Kerrey will not run for the open U.S. Senate seat in Nebraska. “In a last ditch effort to keep this seat in President Obama’s hands, national Democrats put the full-court press on Bob Kerrey to run for the U.S. Senate, but even Kerrey knew that Obama’s reckless tax-and-spend agenda made it an uphill battle, just as it will be for many Democrats running in key battleground states .  Kerrey’s decision to stay in New York is a blow to the Democrats’ hopes of holding their Senate majority and reiterates why we believe Nebraskans will elect a fiscally-responsible, conservative Republican Senator next fall.” What They’ve Said About National Democrats’ Efforts To Recruit Bob Kerrey…. Democrats and Republicans seem to agree that Kerry is Nebraska Democrats’ only hope for holding onto the Senate…

FLASHBACK: Three Years Ago Today DNC Chairman Tim Kaine Promised The Stimulus Would ‘Save Or Create’ 3 Million Jobs

Three years ago today in an effort to keep the national unemployment rate from surpassing 8 percent, President Barack Obama unveiled a $787 billion stimulus, to which his number one cheerleader Democrat National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tim Kaine immediately predicted would ‘save or create’ 3 million jobs. Chairman Kaine went on to say that these stimulus dollars would be directly targeted towards measures that are needed to get our economy working again.  Unfortunately, that was not the case as millions of dollars were given out to failed green energy companies – like Solyndra – and billions of dollars were given to tax cheats. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO “Chairman Kaine promised three years ago that Barack Obama’s $825 billion stimulus would ‘create or save’ 3 million jobs, but after watching the Administration waste millions of dollars on failed green energy experiments like Solyndra and give away billions of dollars…

Sherrod Brown’s Job-Killing Healthcare Law Hurts Another Medical Device Company In Ohio

ObamaCare Levied A New Tax On The 1,900 Medical Device Companies In Ohio This past weekend, the Dayton Daily News reported that another Ohio-based medical device company is feeling the wrath of a looming tax increase that stems from Sherrod Brown’s $2.5 trillion job-killing healthcare bill. Mound Laser & Photonics Center, which is based near Dayton, has cited that ObamaCare’s medical device tax – a 2.3 percent tax that is estimated to kill 45,000 jobs nationwide – is hurting their company’s bottom line. What’s remarkable is that Sherrod Brown knew the tax was a job-killer for the medical device industry, yet he still voted for it. As the Dayton Daily News reports: Officials with Mound Laser & Photonics Center claim the uncertainty surrounding the federal health care overhaul and its excise tax on medical devices already is hurting their business … Dr. Larry Dosser, MLPC’s president and CEO, admits he…

Recommendations for Democratic campaign donations

Memo To:                              State Senator Cynthia Dill From:                       National Republican Senatorial Committee Date:                         March 27, 2012 Re:                              Recommendations for Democratic campaign donations Congratulations on your entry into the race for U.S. Senate in Maine.   As you’re surely aware, national Democrats have made their female Senate candidates a centerpiece of their political strategy in this election, and for months now have relentlessly spun the narrative that 2012 is the “Year of the Woman.” Just for example, the New York Times reported last year that U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand from New York, who has donated thousands of dollars to female Senate candidates this past year, has also started a campaign called Off the Sidelines that is aimed at increasing the number of female candidates across the country.  In fact,…
