After Failed Stimulus, Government Health Care & Record Debt, Obama & McCaskill Push Largest Tax Hike In U.S. History

In 2009, Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) joined President Obama in passing an $825 billion “stimulus” that failed to create the promised jobs.  In 2010, McCaskill joined President Obama in passing a $2.5 trillion government health care bill that mandates every American to buy a health care plan – a mandate which 71 percent of Missouri voters rejected at the polls last year.  Two weeks ago, President Obama proposed yet another $400 billion in new “stimulus” spending. And today, as McCaskill continues to double down on her support of the failed first stimulus and the rest of his tax-and-spend policies, President Obama proposed the largest tax hike in U.S. history – a $1.5 trillion tax increase on investors and small businesses that he says is needed to pay for their reckless spending agenda, which has already driven the federal debt past $14.6 trillion. And today, just 48 hours after Tester doubled down in support of his tax-and-spend record at the Democrat State Party convention in Great Falls, President Obama proposed the largest tax hike in U.S. history – a $1.5 trillion tax increase on investors and small businesses that he says is needed to pay for their reckless spending agenda, which has driven the federal debt past $14.6 trillion. Joe Donnelly Votes To Let Unelected Government Bureaucrats Kill Jobs

Sides With Unelected Washington Bureaucrats’ Job-Killing Agenda Earlier today, liberal U.S. Congressman Joe Donnelly (D-IN) voted against the Protecting Jobs From Government Interference Act, which would prevent the powerful and unelected bureaucrats of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from ordering any job-creator to close, relocate, or transfer employment under any circumstance. Recently, in an effort to appease liberal special interests in advance of President Obama’s uphill reelection bid, the NLRB blocked Boeing from creating new jobs in South Carolina.  The Associated Press reports: Boeing says it opened the South Carolina plant specifically to build 787 airplanes. It contends the lawsuit would effectively require the company to close the $750 million plant and lay off thousands of new workers there. This prompted General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt – the Chair of President Obama’s own Council on Jobs and Competitiveness – to express his disgust with the NLRB’s job-killing agenda.  Fox…

NRSC Launches New Web Video: Obama & Kaine: Close Friends, Far From The Virginia Mainstream

Kaine Doubles Down On Job-Killing Tax Hikes As Obama Approval Plummets Even as many of his fellow Washington Democrats refuse to toe the line for President Barack Obama’s proposal for hundreds of billions of dollars in new government spending, to be paid for with job-killing tax hikes, former DNC Chairman Tim Kaine is doubling down on his support for Obama’s job-killing tax hikes. Last week, Kaine traveled to Richmond to lend his full support for Obama’s plan, applauding what he calls its “strong, bipartisan solutions designed to spur hiring and job growth.”  But it’s clear today that the only thing bipartisan about Obama’s plan is the growing bipartisan opposition to its reckless spending and job-killing tax hikes – which Kaine’s fellow Democrat, Jim Webb, succinctly labeled yesterday as “terrible.” The Washington Post reported last night that, caught flat-footed, “Kaine’s campaign declined to comment on Webb’s remarks,” but later rushed to…
