Time Warner Cable News’ "Capital Tonight" took an exclusive look at the NRSC’s latest TV and digital ad, which exposes Deborah Ross’ work to prevent the creation of the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry. Together with a Snapchat geofilter (image below), the five-figure TV ad buy will launch this weekend to coincide with the North Carolina Democratic Party’s state convention. The geofilter will be available to Snapchat users who are at or near the Democrats’ state convention.

From Time Warner Cable News’ panel:

“I don’t know if her positions as a lobbyist survive 30 second ads like this.”

“This is the other side tattooing on your forehead a bumper sticker that says exactly the worst thing that they’d want to say on you.”

“Lobbyists don’t make good candidates and I don’t know how you come back with a 30 second ad saying…why I did not support having a sex offender registry.”
