Murphy Getting Under the Table Deals?

US Senate Candidate from Connecticut, Chris Murphy, has gone to extreme lengths in order to keep his financial troubles under-wraps. This makes one wonder what it is that Murphy is hiding. It was just recently revealed that Murphy faced foreclosure on his home shortly after being elected to Congress. Additionally, Murphy failed to pay his rent in 2003. Furthermore, it seems possible that Murphy received a sweetheart deal from Webster Bank in exchange for federal bailout money. Murphy was able to secure a below-market mortgage loan at 4.99%, not long after defaulting on his original mortgage. Shortly after, the bank received a bailout from the federal government to the tune of $400 million. Also notable is the fact the bank is both a campaign contributor and has paid Murphy for legal services. Unemployment Rises To 9.1% In Wake Of Murphy’s Failed $787 Billion Stimulus

In yet another reminder that liberal Congressman Chris Murphy’s (D-CT) $787 billion stimulus failed to create jobs while driving our national debt past $14.3 trillion, the U.S. Department of Labor reports today that national unemployment has risen again to 9.1 percent. Today’s rise in unemployment is just the latest development to highlight the failure of Murphy’s tax-and-spend economic policies in Washington.  While Murphy and the Obama Administration promised their $787 billion stimulus would create millions of new jobs and keep national unemployment below 8 percent, the United States has actually lost more than 1.8 million jobs since Murphy helped his Washington party bosses ram it into law – and national unemployment has remained above 8 percent now for 28 consecutive months.
