Legislation Will Cost Michiganders $1.2 Billion In Additional Medicaid Expenses    Two years ago, liberal United States Senator Debbie Stabenow provided President Barack Obama with the 60th and final vote for his job-killing healthcare bill, which saddled the Wolverine State with $1.2 billion in additional Medicaid expenses. Last Thursday, a bipartisan group of Senators rejected Debbie Stabenow’s payroll tax relief extension, because this temporary tax cut slapped a permanent tax hike on small business owners across the Wolverine State. Unfortunately, Stabenow remains stubbornly committed to raising taxes, because today she and her party offered a “revised” payroll tax cut extension, but again it hits Michigan’s job creators with a massive tax increase.
