Senator Debbie Stabenow enjoys fundraising with ultra liberal California dems rather than siding with the people of Michigan. Stabenow chose to spend time and receive money from people that don’t represent Michigan’s values but an ultra liberal agenda. In case you missed it:

U-M Alum Throws Stabenow Fundraiser At San Fran Home

Rahul Shah, a Farmington Hills native and 1997 University of Michigan alum, hosted a fundraiser tonight with his wife, Tejal Shah, for U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow at their San Francisco, Calif., home.

Tickets for the event ranged from $5,400 to $500 and was co-hosted by Wade Randlett, who has given to such prominent Democrats as U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, former presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and other Democrats.

The Shahs started their own wealth management company several years ago, but do not have a history of political giving, according to Federal Elections Commission records.

“It makes sense that Stabenow is hanging with coastal elitists seeing she sides with their extreme policies over what’s best for Michigan,” said Katie Martin, communications director for the National Republican Senate Committee. “While she’s in San Francisco, will Stabenow drive 30 minutes to see her BFF Jennifer Granholm at UC Berkeley?”

Stabenow, who is expected to run for her fourth term next year, has sent out several organizing and fundraising emails in recent days. Today’s included one encouraging recipients to “stand up for Michigan’s environment” in the face of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Director Scott Pruitt’s decision to rollback some of Obama-era rules designed to curb carbon dioxide pollution.

“Efforts to curb carbon pollution keeps everything we’ve done to grow Michigan’s clean energy economy moving full speed ahead,” Stabenow wrote. “The administration should be leading on something this important, not taking us back.”

In the last few days, she’s also wrote similar fundraising pitches based on President Donald Trump’s “attack on women’s health” and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
