Bob Casey continues his transformation into a darling of the left tomorrow, as he attends a fundraiser with Protect & Elect, a progressive advocacy group in Philadelphia.
Protect and Elect is most notable for their involvement with the New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia, an extreme pro-sanctuary cities group that held a protest just last week at Philadelphia’s ICE headquarters, calling for an end to the deportation of illegal immigrants. While this should be no surprise given Casey’s own support for sanctuary cities, he owes an explanation to voters as to why he continues to side with liberal special interests over Pennsylvania voters.
