On Tuesday, we highlighted Jeff Jackson’s boozy, bizarre campaign event where he admitted to attendees that he’d “been drinking gin the last 20 minutes” when he flubbed statistics on climate change. He also reassured attendees that “everything is fine at home” even though no one had asked.
Yesterday, he decided to go on the attack against his fellow Democrats in North Carolina, saying that it is “incredibly rare for a North Carolina Senate candidate – for any major Senate candidate in a major swing state – to be holding an open town hall. It’s extinct!” I wonder if Cheri Beasley and Erica Smith will get the message.

Jackson added, “we have a nice gentleman here who’s been sent by the national Republican Party and it’s his job to hand over the footage to the national Republicans and it’s their job to clip it out of context and then make us look bad. They did it yesterday!”
