Washington, D.C. – Today, Wisconsin Senate hopeful, Democrat Alex Lasry, was on MSNBC to talk about COVID-19 vaccine rollout in WI. The anchor noted that he received his “months ago.” That is correct. Lasry – a healthy 33-year-old – skipped the line to receive his vaccine in February when states were prioritizing the vulnerable, elderly community, not spoiled rich kids.
Yes, Lasry thought it was okay to use his wealth and power to cut in line ahead of vulnerable, elderly Wisconsinites. Looks like he is already putting himself before the people he is vying to represent. Not a good look.
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “As a candidate for Senate, Lasry should’ve thought twice before cutting the line ahead of vulnerable, elderly Wisconsinites to receive a vaccine for himself. Wisconsin deserves a Senator who will always put their constituents before themselves, not the other way around.”
