When Bob Casey was elected to the Senate, he told Pennsylvanians that he was a moderate Democrat. His record since he came to Washington tells a different story.

A new digital ad from the NRSC contrasts the 2006 Bob Casey, who claimed to be pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment, with the real Bob Casey. Since joining the Senate, Casey has earned a 100% rating from NARAL, an extreme pro-abortion interest group. And Casey has been called “an evangelist for gun control laws” by the Washington Post. It’s clear that Bob Casey represents liberal Washington special interests, not Pennsylvania voters.

“Bob Casey posed as a moderate to get elected, but he’s shown his true, liberal colors since coming to Washington,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Casey sold out Pennsylvanians years ago when he cozied up to the liberal special interest groups and anti-gun lobbyists who fund his campaign.”
