Washington, D.C. – Summer is nearly here and vulnerable Senators Raphael Warnock, Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Michael Bennet, and Catherine Cortez Masto are already feeling the heat on their partisan voting record during this Congress. According to the numbers, each Senator votes 98% or more with the position of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, with Senators Warnock, Cortez Masto, and Bennet almost never casting a contrary vote. Not far behind, each Senator votes 97% or more with socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, an increase since we last updated the numbers in mid-April. See the full breakdown below.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Vulnerable Senate Democrats have gone all-in on Bernie’s socialist agenda for America and Leader Schumer’s liberal push to prevent a primary challenge in New York. Senators Warnock, Hassan, Kelly, Cortez Masto, and Bennet are home for recess this week and will have to answer for the policies they’ve supported that have directly led to inflation, a crisis on the Southern border, and perpetual anti-science lockdowns. Change may have come to America in 2020 but it will come again in a big way in 2022.”
