Thousands of Nevadans came together to celebrate Nevada Day in Carson City over the weekend, but Jacky Rosen was conspicuously absent from one of the country’s premier statehood celebrations.
So where was Jacky?
Given Rosen is set to attend a pricey fundraiser in Chicago tonight, it seems Rosen chose to hobnob with liberal donors in the Windy City, rather than meet with folks in Northern Nevada. Rosen’s decision to court national donors instead of talking with hardworking Nevadans shouldn’t come as a surprise. While in D.C., she’s done everything in her power to appease national Democrats and their out-of-touch policies, even earning the nickname “Pelosi’s Puppet” for voting with Nancy Pelosi 91% of the time.
“With Jacky Rosen jetting off to raise cash in Chicago, Nevadans deserve to know why she couldn’t make time for them,” said NRSC spokesman Michael McAdams. “Rosen’s focus on appeasing national liberals illustrates her complete disregard for representing the interests of hardworking Nevadans.”
