In a new TV ad campaign that begins today, the NRSC is targeting Democratic Senate candidate Maggie Hassan for her mismanagement of the heroin crisis in New Hampshire. The ad is part of the NRSC’s significant ad reservation in the Boston DMA.

“In stark contrast with Maggie Hassan, Kelly Ayotte has done more than just talk about fighting the heroin epidemic. Ayotte sponsored and helped pass the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act that supports improved access to prevention, treatment, and recovery programs.” – Alleigh Marré, NRSC National Press Secretary

NARRATOR: “Maggie Hassan vetoed a budged that doubled funding to prevent heroin addiction.

“Hassan’s office was unaware of a $12 million grant to fight heroin.

“And Maggie Hassan’s hand-picked drug czar resigned in controversy.

“Maybe accidents. Maybe oversights. It doesn’t matter.

“Maggie Hassan mismanaged the heroin crisis and New Hampshire is paying the price.”
