The latest Gallup poll spells huge trouble for three Trump-state Democrats. Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, and Senator Jon Tester of Montana represent states in President Trump’s top four most popular states.

These numbers are especially interesting for Sen. Tester. In an email, one of the leaders of President Trump’s resistance, Senator Kamala Harris of California, called Sen. Tester her “ally” and highlighted “his resistance to Trump’s agenda.” Sen. Tester is actively working against a majority of his constituents.

Nearly 50% of Senator Claire McCaskill’s state of Missouri approves of the job President Trump is doing, showing how out of touch she is with her state. In June, Resistance leader Sen. Harris said the “resistance to Trump hinges” on Sen. McCaskill’s race. Half of Sen. McCaskill’s constituents would oppose her major role in the resistance, so why has she taken such a strong stance opposing President Trump?

In other polling news, last week, The Washington Post reported that 52% of Americans believe Democrats just stand against President Trump rather than standing for anything. That Democratic messaging strategy probably won’t work out so well for the senators from states with President Trump’s approval over 50%.

Some Democrats are taking it even farther than just resistance to President Trump. One Democrat claimed:

“We need to be talking about impeachment constantly,” said Scott Dworkin, co-founder of the recently formed Democratic Coalition Against Trump. He warned on Twitter, “If you’re an elected Dem & you’re not talking impeachment or 25th amendment then find a new party.”

While Democrats continue their party squabbles over messaging, the top Democrats unveiled their new slogan, “A Better Deal: Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages.” While some people mocked its resemblance to the Papa John’s slogan…

Others noticed its resemblance to a recently failed presidential candidate. The platform itself and even the title, “A Better Deal” is basically just copied and pasted from Hillary Clinton’s website and speech transcripts. Democrats have finally come up with a message, but it turns out they just repurposed their same failed message from 2016, which isn’t surprising given the messengers.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have spent their tenures ensuring they stay the minority leaders for quite some time. Considering they’re from New York and California respectively, it’s no surprise they are so out of touch with the states President Trump carried handily in 2016.

We need to stop as many of these Democrats as we can. Help us strengthen the Majority by pitching in today:
