As Americans learn more about how she put the security of our country at risk, it’s clear why Democrats like Senator Russ Feingold aren’t lining up to campaign with Hillary Clinton.
In Senator Feingold’s case – exactly one month after his former state of Wisconsin held its primary and nearly one month before his new state of California votes, he still will not say if he supports a self-avowed socialist or a candidate whose actions are under FBI investigation.
In February, Clinton managed to accomplish the near-impossible: getting Senator Feingold back to his Middleton, Wisconsin home after soaking up the California sun.
Given the prospect of being bogged down by Hillary Clinton’s national security failures – particularly as he desperately attempts to rewrite his own dangerously weak record, Senator Feingold refused to be physically present in the same room with her during the Democratic debate in Milwaukee.
Hillary Clinton needs a champion in Wisconsin – a state she badly lost.
Given her standing as a toxic candidate whose failed leadership has put our national security at risk, it’s clear why Senator Russ Feingold doesn’t want to be that champion.
