April 5, 2016: Wisconsin held its presidential primary. Many questioned which Democratic candidate had Senator Feingold’s vote. In hopes to stay under the radar, Feingold never shared who he cast his ballot for.

Fast forward to April 28, 2016: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel pushed Feingold on the topic again, pointing out we still have yet to know who had Feingold’s vote. They reported Feingold "stayed mum" on his presidential vote. Apparently, Feingold is so concerned about his vote, he said this when asked about it:

"I’m not saying, and I didn’t even tell my wife."

Like a typical career politician, Feingold can’t say anything to get him in trouble. While we can’t say for certain who had the backing of serial politician Feingold, we have collected some important pieces of evidence to shed some light on his vote.

Now, let’s leap one more time to June 1: The Cap Times reports on a statement which makes Senator Feingold the reigning champ of career politicians. When discussing the super-delegate system (currently in the spotlight for hurting Bernie Sanders’ presidential bid), Feingold said:

"I’ve never been a big fan of (the system)," Feingold told reporters Wednesday. "I feel like it has to be re-evaluated in a very serious way. I think it causes some concerns."

It almost sounds like he feels the Bern, coming to Sanders’ defense. However, that would require him to stick to a real, solid stance on something, and that hasn’t gone over well for hypocrite Senator Feingold. So, he then walks back his support for Sanders, saying:

"You can’t do it retroactively, I don’t think," Feingold said of changing the system. "In other words, not for this convention, not for this election. But going forward, it’s much more in the spirit of a populist Democratic Party to have a different, more direct system."

Here, Senator Feingold opts to pander to the Hillary Clinton crowd. Despite admitting Bernie Sanders has fallen victim to a corrupt system, he says Clinton should still get to be the nominee. Like a true career politician, Senator Feingold chose to take a stance he couldn’t be held accountable for rather than stand up for what he believed was the right thing to do.

Still wondering who Senator Feingold ultimately voted for? Us too. Here’s what we’ve deduced so far, but it’s been an ongoing investigation.

Exhibit A: Senator Feingold got in a "shouting match" with Hillary Clinton.

Feingold and Clinton haven’t exactly seen eye to eye, causing the senators to raise their voices at each other. Feingold himself even admitted the scuffle escalated to screaming:

Sens. Russ Feingold and Hillary Clinton got into in a heated argument over the impact of Feingold’s campaign finance reform legislation on Senate Democrats, Feingold said Friday.

"You’re not living in the real world," Clinton screamed at him, according to Feingold, D-Wis.

Exhibit B: Senator Feingold was noticeably absent from Wisconsin’s Democratic debate.

There’s no way to better distance yourself from a primary than watching it from nearly 100 miles away. He really went lengths just to avoid being asked about the race. Is he ashamed of his #FeelTheBern pride?

Exhibit C: Senator Feingold "profusely" praised Bernie Sanders.

Senator Feingold is a big fan of Bernie Sanders’ extreme liberal positions. He even almost revealed their shared hopes for a single-payer healthcare.

At a January forum hosted by Marquette University Law School, Feingold — who has not endorsed for president — praised Sanders profusely.

“He’s an honorable person,” Feingold said. “He’s a committed progressive. I agree with him on many issues.

“In fact, Bernie and I were holding out for an even stronger bill on the Affordable Care Act. We wanted a single-payer,” he added, before catching himself. “We wanted an option, an option to opt in, a public option.”

With such high praises, he essentially all but endorses Bernie. This is a much better record of friendship than a "shouting match."

Exhibit D: Senator Feingold’s Scam PAC donated to Bernie Sanders.

Normally, one senator donating $6,000 to another senator wouldn’t be a huge deal, but when only 5 percent of your income goes to actually funding candidates, this is a pretty big deal. Senator Feingold has to be a big fan of your work in order to elicit a donation from his Scam PAC, where most income went to padding his own pockets and his former staffers’ pockets.

The Defense: Senator Feingold and Hillary Clinton both tend to stir up scandals.

This is one piece of evidence which could lead someone to believe Senator Feingold is rooting for a Hillary Clinton nomination. Senator Feingold’s previously mentioned Scam PAC has caused quite a bit of controversy, revealing his major hypocrisy. He once was the godfather of campaign finance, but once out of office, he cashed out, paying not only himself, but his staffers as well.

Hillary Clinton obviously is no stranger to scandals and hypocrisy, promising a more transparent government, and then swiftly setting up a secret server in her Secretary of State office.

Being that both have been scandal-plagued, it’s possible Senator Feingold has a soft spot for Hillary Clinton. He understands what it’s like to flop on your previously touted principles and then get caught.

Things got even more awkward for Senator Feingold when "Clinton urged voters to elect Feingold nearly as many times as she asked them to support her in the primary election." Hillary Clinton has resorted to begging for an endorsement, but Senator Feingold just can’t commit.

We aren’t the only ones to notice Feingold’s silence:

Senator Feingold is in quite the predicament. Given his sympathies to both an ultra-liberal extremist and a scandal-plagued hypocrite, it seems the primary may say more about Russ Feingold than anything else.

Update

Now that Hillary Clinton has clinched the nomination, Feingold said he would "support the Democratic nominee ‘without reservation." However, as a result, Feingold now must answer for Hillary Clinton’s many scandals. A spokesman for Ron Johnson said:

"When is Senator Feingold going to withdraw his support for a candidate under investigation by the FBI for email practices that jeopardized our national security?"

Senator Feingold is choosing to support a candidate who was a danger to national security. Hillary Clinton has a toxic campaign full of scandals. Click the button below if you want to STOP HILLARY!
