The new ad also features recent reporting on Greenfield scrubbing her business record from her campaign website in an effort to try to hide her roles with the companies.

“After signing the eviction notices for Iowa small businesses, running up millions in company debt, and refusing to pay the bills, Democrat Theresa Greenfield has attempted to scrub mentions of her business record,” said NRSC spokesperson Nathan Brand. “Iowans can’t trust Greenfield to be honest about her business record and they definitely can’t trust her to fight for the working families who need it most.”

TRANSCRIPT

Greenfield: “I spent seven years running a small business.”

The truth: Theresa Greenfield’s company kicked Iowa small businesses to the curb.

So ruthless, Greenfield signed the notices herself.

Greenfield’s business ran up millions of debt, refused to pay its bills, and destroyed the jobs of Iowa families.

Now Greenfield’s been caught red handed trying to cover it all up, just like a typical politician.

Theresa Greenfield can’t be trusted.
