Washington, D.C. – Michael Bennet is out with a new ad bemoaning high prices and fuel costs and claiming that he is working to fix the problem. Of course, that is pure fantasy. Michael Bennet caused the very problems he is now complaining about:
- Driving up Inflation: Michael Bennet voted in lockstep with the Biden economic agenda that included trillions in new spending that was dumped on an overheated economy.
- Sending American Oil to China: Michael Bennet voted against a Republican measure to prevent the export of oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China.
- Importing Manufactured Parts from China Made by Slave Labor: Michael Bennet voted against a Republican measure to prevent funding of any manufactured electric vehicle-related imports from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China, where slave labor is used.

Whether it’s taking corporate PAC money, being a fisherman, or doing anything to stop inflation, Michael Bennet is a classic lightweight Senator.
