Washington, D.C. – Today, we learned what we suspected all along: One of the dark money groups that spent over $4 million trying to meddle in the Colorado Republican primary was actually entirely funded by Chuck Schumer’s own Senate Majority PAC!
In all, $10 million of donor money was spent in an attempt to mislead and confuse Republican voters…and it completely failed.
Not only are Democrats bad stewards of public funds, but they may be even lousier at managing donor funds.
Late last month, NRSC Chairman Rick Scott wrote an open letter to Democrat donors, warning them that Chuck Schumer is burning their money on lost causes and far-flung political trickery. His actions have made his party poorer, and Republicans stronger. Way to go, Chuck!
