Washington, D.C. – As Americans across the country and legislators from both sides of the aisle are speaking out against President Biden’s botched withdrawal in Afghanistan, some vulnerable Democrats are playing partisan politics and refusing to condemn President Biden and his administration.
Senator Raphael Warnock, Congressman Tim Ryan and Congresswoman Val Demings released weak, shortsighted statements regarding the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan, failing to mention the failed leadership of the Biden Administration. Some even failed to mention Biden at all.
If these vulnerable Democrats have any hope for 2022, they must speak out clearly to denounce what the Biden Administration has done and demand action and accountability. Americans deserve it and our allies deserve it.
Do Warnock, Ryan, and Demings agree with the actions of the Biden Administration? Are they willing to step out of their comfort zones when it comes to party leadership and stand up for what is right? Their constituents won’t forget.
