Washington, D.C. – It turns out voters are not fans of socialist spending sprees, defunding the police, amnesty, and high gas prices. Days after a Morning Consult / Politico poll revealed that nearly six out of 10 Americans blame Democrats for skyrocketing inflation, they are on the ropes once again.
With Joe Biden’s popularity among independent voters tanking, independents believe Biden has bungled just about every crisis that has come his way. According to a new Morning Consult / Politico poll, a majority of independent voters reject Biden’s handling of immigration (54% disapprove), the economy (51% disapprove), and gun policy (51% disapprove). Views of how Biden has handled the economy and COVID have also taken a nosedive as Democrats continue to fuel inflation spikes.
On the issues that matter most, Joe Biden and Senate Democrats fail to deliver for the American people. No wonder the chair of the House Democrats’ reelection arm is sounding the alarm about Democrats losing power 2022. Democrats need a lot more than a “message reboot” to stave off the impending 2022 midterm storm.
