Washington, D.C. – Senators Maggie Hassan and Catherine Cortez Masto are begging Joe Biden to join them on the campaign trail this cycle. But it’s hard to imagine why. After months of brutal poll numbers for Democrats, a new Wall Street Journal poll revealed that Joe Biden is as unpopular as ever.
It’s not just Biden’s approval ratings that spell trouble for Democrats. Voters don’t trust Democrats to lead on the major issues of the day, like fixing inflation and securing the border:
“A challenge for Mr. Biden and his party is that voters don’t see them as best equipped to improve the economy. Voters said they believe Republicans have the better economic policy, 43% to 34%, and the GOP is viewed as better able to control inflation, secure the border, fix the immigration system and reduce crime.”
