Washington, D.C. – While Catherine Cortez Masto was wasting time deciding if she should use “Latinx” or “Latino” she forgot what Hispanics in Nevada are dealing with daily, like the economy, inflation, and crime. All things that Catherine Cortez Masto has made worse during her time as Senator.

The Washington Free Beacon is reporting that: Now, Cortez Masto is ditching the unpopular term as she courts Hispanic voters. Many of the Democrat’s digital ads tout her status as “the first Latina ever elected to the U.S. Senate,” and Cortez Masto’s latest campaign press releases swap “Latinx” for “Latino.” The change comes as a tacit admission that Cortez Masto’s past embrace of progressive rhetoric could alienate a crucial voting block in her race against Laxalt.

Here are some things that Masto should be focused on:

Statement from NRSC Hispanic Press Secretary Juan Arias: “Catherine Cortez Masto’s track record proves that she does not care about the Hispanic community in Nevada. Cortez Masto and Democrats in Nevada are completely out of touch with Hispanic families, who care about the real issues impacting them, not the Democrats’ woke ideology. Regardless of what word they use, Hispanics know that Cortez Masto is a vote for Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer not Nevada.”
