Heidi Heitkamp has officially sold out North Dakota to stand with Chuck Schumer and Washington liberals, voting NO on President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee moving forward.
Heitkamp is now going to have to face backlash from voters who overwhelmingly wanted her to vote for Judge Kavanaugh. Polling this week revealed 56% and 60% of North Dakotans support Kavanaugh being confirmed.
But just like she has on sanctuary cities, tax cuts, health care and abortion, Heitkamp has once again ignored the wishes of North Dakotans to appease her liberal base and Democratic Party leaders.
“Heidi Heitkamp’s vote today signed, sealed and delivered her defeat this November,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Come Election Day, North Dakota voters will ensure they have a Senator, like Kevin Cramer, who will consistently stand with, not against, their interests.”
