It sure was a bad week for Joe Donnelly, as the Do-Nothing Democrat Senator joined the chorus of Washington liberals singing the praises of Obamacare, only to watch the failed law further deteriorate back in Indiana.

Donnelly started the week with a bizarre floor speech, where he attempted to blame President Trump for the failings of Obamacare, ignoring the fact that premiums in Indiana increased by 74% and major insurers were fleeing the market well before last year’s election.

This did not play well back home, with local radio host Tony Katz dismantling Donnelly’s “ridiculous commentary,” and concluding that by joining Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders in their #resistance, he had damaged his reelection chances.

On Wednesday, Hoosiers got more bad news on health care as Anthem and MDwise both announced that they would stop selling Obamacare plans in the state, citing the “deteriorating market.”

And in a case of really bad timing, the same day those major insurers dropped out of the market, leaving tens of thousands with no health insurance, Donnelly was caught trying to fundraise off of his vote for and continued support of Obamacare.

Be on the lookout for many more bad weeks for Joe Donnelly as he attempts to justify his Do-Nothing record in Congress, while running for reelection as a Democrat in a state President Trump won by 19 points!
