Washington, D.C. – Things are looking bad for Senate Democrats…like, really bad.
As one analysis from National Journal points out, President Biden’s numbers, and those of Democrats across the country, are trending sharply into historically-bad territory:
Unfortunately for Democrats, they’ve clung to their radical agenda for too long, and now time is up. Polling shows that Democrats are heading toward a “shellacking” in the midterms. Chuck Schumer, in his quest to avoid a primary from AOC, may not only have cost his party their majority in 2022 but also possibly more in 2024.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “The sirens are blaring at Democrat Headquarters – a wave election is coming, and the U.S. Senate is its target. Thanks to horrible mismanagement from Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, and even failed-Senate candidate Jaime Harrison, Democrats are cruising for a shellacking in November. With little hope in sight, Democrats are doubling down on their liberal agenda, further harming their most vulnerable members. All we can say is, ‘thank you!’”
