The Indiana GOP filed an ethics complaint today against Mexico Joe Donnelly, and boy is it a doozy.
In a new TV ad attempting to paper over his vote against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Mexico Joe uses a picture of himself with Justice Neil Gorsuch. Unfortunately for Mexico Joe, the picture was taken in his official office, taken by a member of his taxpayer-funded staff and posted on his official Flickr account.
In response to a previous complaint on a similar matter, Mexico Joe’s campaign was asked about the use of content created by his official office for campaign purposes. A spokesman told the Journal Gazette, “even if the campaign or any outside group wanted to use this footage, it would be illegal.” Uh oh!
