Washington, D.C – According to a new poll of New Hampshire voters by the University of New Hampshire, President Joe Biden’s approval rating is plummeting, dropping six points in just one month. Currently, 54% of Granite Staters disapprove of his job performance, while only 44% approve.
Making matters worse for the President, 59% believe the country is on the wrong track, and a whopping 70% blame President Biden “a lot” or “some” for the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan.
The silver lining for the President is that he is not up for re-election for another 3 years. This is not the case for Senator Maggie Hassan who has voted with President Biden 100% of the time in the Senate. Will she continue to stay in lockstep with a President whose numbers are dropping even faster than hers?
Statement for NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Maggie Hassan’s numbers have been falling for months, but now her biggest buoy – Joe Biden – is sinking. The botched Afghanistan withdrawal has underscored the mismanagement of foreign policy by the Biden Administration and their allies in the Senate. Senator Hassan has stuck with the President 100% of the time and shares blame for the agenda of this administration in both foreign and domestic policy.”
