Mark Kelly is under fire today for giving Chuck Schumer and his Party leaders a pass as they hold small business relief hostage during the Coronavirus pandemic. The Payroll Protection Program ran out of funds last week, and Washington Democrats have refused to replenish the fund – leaving small businesses unable to continue receiving aid.
“Mark Kelly had multiple chances to hold his Party accountable as they held up critical small business aid, but instead he’s given his Party boss Chuck Schumer and other Senate Democrats a pass,” said NRSC spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “Putting party loyalty ahead small businesses relief during this crisis is shameful, and proves Arizonans can’t count on Kelly to fight for what they really need.”
