Washington, D.C. – Mark Kelly has a history of telling Arizona voters one thing but doing the exact opposite after being pressured by D.C. Democrats like Chuck Schumer and Bernie Sanders. So it will come as no surprise that during an interview this morning, Mark Kelly made some pretty outrageous claims about his campaign donors and transparency with voters:
“I’m the only person in the United States Congress out of 535 people that does not take corporate PAC money, has a qualified blind trust, and has a public schedule. So my constituents know what I’m doing here every day when I’m in Washington, DC.”
Let’s start with Kelly’s lies about not accepting corporate PAC money. If he does not accept corporate PAC money, how does he explain the campaign donations from a Huawei lobbyist? Sure, Mark Kelly told voters he would not accept corporate PAC money, but as the National Review reported, he worked overtime to find a loophole in order to get a boost from his Chinese business allies.
Mark Kelly’s supposed public schedule? Not so public. As Fox News uncovered last year, Kelly’s schedule is weeks behind, throwing into question what the senator and his team are scrubbing before sharing the schedule with voters. Even today, Kelly’s published schedule is only available through the week of January 3. What has Mark Kelly been up to the past 18 days?
Mark Kelly is hiding and lying from Arizona voters because he knows once they learn the truth about him, he’ll be sent packing.
